Amergin is a traveling druid of the bardic class. He is very young for a druid, being only 24. He was raised and taught the druidic arts by a reclusive, immortal wizard named Tuan mac Cairill. However, Amergin is actually of royal blood, being a direct descendant of Míl, the first king of the Milesians (Milesian means “sons of Míl,” so they named themselves after their king).
