Bres is the half-Fomorian son of Elatha and Ériu, and the current king of the Tuatha Dé Danann, renowned for his beauty. In mythology, Bres was a terrible king to the Tuatha Dé; he much preferred his Fomorian lineage and oppressed the Tuatha Dé. Here, I have made him the opposite. Having been raised by the Gods, he feels great shame regarding his Fomorian lineage. He despises his father, Elatha, both for abandoning him as a child and for being the source of his Fomorian blood. Bres is quite conceited and has a wicked temper, but he is also well known for his intelligence and strategic abilities. In reality, Bres is likely a political pawn, chosen by the Gods to be their king out of convenience, but he is far too arrogant to realize this fact. Brígid acts as an adviser to him, but has a great deal of sway over him. This is a character I have thought a lot about and am very excited about. I hope the developers allow us more character slots in the future so I can bring him to life 🙏
